London, 05 June 2024 – World legislation agency Hogan Lovells has assisted Waste Administration, Inc (WM) on its $7.2 billion take-private acquisition of Stericycle, Inc. The deal is predicted to shut within the fourth quarter of 2024.

Stericycle, Inc. is a compliance firm that focuses on accumulating and disposing regulated medical waste, equivalent to medical waste and sharps, prescription drugs, hazardous waste, and offering providers for recalled and expired items.

WM intends to finance the transaction utilizing a mix of financial institution debt and senior notes. The consideration representing a complete enterprise worth of roughly $7.2 billion when together with roughly $1.4 billion of Stericycle’s internet debt.
